It seems vehicle pursuits are happening more and more often in Hunt County. We reported on two over the weekend.

Late Friday night just after 9:00PM, a Hunt County unit called pursuit on FM 118 near FM 499. The vehicle led Hunt County Deputies into Greenville on I-30 at speeds near 100MPH at times. The vehicle exited off the interstate, taking Highway 69 towards Lone Oak. Somewhere in the area of FM 1570 & Hwy 69 the vehicle made a U-Turn heading back towards the Interstate. The small blue car eventually got back on I-30 Eastbound and led officers towards Highway 224 down FM 118. The pursuit eventually ended in the Neylandville Community off of CR 4309.

3 subjects were detained at the scene and 1 subject fled on foot. The subject that ran on foot was later captured and booked into Hunt County Detention Center. Collin Royal was arrested and charged with EVADING ARREST DET W/VEH. No one was injured during this pursuit. Click Here To Read Full Article
