Arrest Made in Homicide at 3819 Wendelkin Street

On June 27, 2020, at approximately 12:55 a.m., Dallas police responded to a stabbing/cutting at 3819 Wendelkin Street. Officers located the victim, whose name is being withheld pending next of kin notification, inside his bedroom bleeding from several stab wounds. Dallas Fire & Rescue responded to the location and pronounced the victim deceased.

Police arrested the suspect, Audrea Johnson, a 52-year-old Black female who was in a dating relationship with the victim. She was transported to the Dallas Police Homicide Unit where she admitted to stabbing the victim multiple times. She was transported to Lew Sterrett Jail for murder, her bond will be set by a magistrate.

Stabbing In South Dallas Leaves One Dead

A woman is in custody after a fatal stabbing in South Dallas early Saturday morning.

Dallas officers responded to the 3800 block of Windelkin St for a caller who advised their daughter got mad at her boyfriend and stabbed him.

upon officers arrival, they located a male subject inside the home with a stab wounds. When Dallas Fire & Rescue arrived on scene they pronounced the victim DOA (Dead On Arrival)

Officers were able to locate the knife used at the scene, later taking a female subject into custody for questioning. The female told police that she used the knife in self defense.

This is an ongoing investigation and we will update once we learn more.

Stabbing at Texas Beach Club Suspect in Custody

On February 16, 2020 at approximately 3:30 a.m. the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a fight in progress at the Texas Beach Club located at 3771 East Interstate 30, Campbell, TX. 

Upon arrival responding Deputies were informed that two male subjects had gotten into a fight and that during the fight one person was stabbed multiple times.  The stabbing victim had left the scene prior to their arrival but was located a short time later at a local hospital.  

Investigators with the Criminal Investigation Division worked diligently in the following days interviewing all parties involved as well as witnesses.  Investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Jamie Morales, 24 year old male from Greenville, Texas for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.  

Mr. Morales was arrested without incident at his residence on February 25th, 2020 and transported to the Hunt County Detention Center. Mr. Morales was arraigned on one count of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon with a bond of $50,000.00 cash or surety.  Mr. Morales is also being held on a charge of Criminal Non Support out of Dallas County with No Bond.

The victim has since been release from the hospital and is recovering.

Overnight Stabbing In West Tawakoni Sends One To Hospital

On September 11, 2019 at approximately 9:00 p.m. the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the 200 block of Indian Trail in West Tawakoni for a report of a disturbance with weapons.

Upon officers arrival they observed through the window of an RV what appeared to be a male subject possibly stabbing a mattress. The subject, who was later identified as Bobby Coker an 85 year old male from Greenville Texas, exited the RV without incident armed with two knives in his hands which he quickly surrendered. Deputies made entry into the RV to determine if there was any victims inside at which time they located one male subject in need of medical attention. AMR transported the victim to the hospital for his injuries and his condition is not known as of this press release.

Mr. Coker was taken into custody and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and his bond is currently set at $100,000.

Sheriff Meeks stated: “I want to thank the Quinlan and Hawk Cover Police Departments for their assistance in responding to this call and the subsequent investigation. The quick response of all the agency’s involved may have saved the life of the victim and I commend how all law enforcement personnel worked together in this instance.”
