GREENVILLE: On Saturday, July 20, 2019, at approximately 10:00 p.m. the Greenville Police Department responded to a robbery at Discount Gas & Tobacco & Beverage located at 6002 Wesley Street.
It was reported that a black male, approximately five feet tall, entered the store. wearing safety glasses with a dark-colored cloth covering his face. The suspect forced a customer onto the ground and demanded money. The suspect claimed to have a handgun but never displayed it. The suspect stole an unknown amount of money and left the store heading northbound.
Detectives are working to obtain a photo from the store’s surveillance cameras.

Today Hunt County EMS, Greenville Fire & P.D units responded to the corner of Wesley St @ Pickett St for a vehicle vs a building. Upon arrival units found a vehicle into the side of the building, with minor damage to the vehicle. Patient walked to the ambulance on their on to be evaluated.
As for the building, no damages were seen from the outside.
Greenville Police Department along with Hunt County EMS & Greenville Fire responded to Wesley St near Auto Zone this afternoon for a subject hit by a vehicle.
Reports are Wesley St has been closed in the area of Auto Zone for sometime now, after a vehicle ran over a pedestrian. Details are very few at this moment, but what we do know is Hunt County EMS was dispatched for a Vehicle VS Pedestrian in the area of Auto Zone on Wesley St in Greenville. Patient was transported to the E.R.
At this time this is a developing story, and we do not know the status of the patient. We will await a press release in the morning from Greenville and update when we learn more facts.
